Youth Art Month Minnesota Flag Contest

UPDATE: The Winning Entry! Jackie, 8th Grade (from our very own CMS)


Art Educators of Minnesota will select one original work, created by a middle school student to represent Minnesota for a flag design. The selected entry will be professionally made into a full-sized flag which will be flown in Washington, D.C. during the month of March, 2010. This flag will also be displayed at the National Art
Education Association (NAEA) conference, which will be held in Baltimore, MD. The students whose work is selected will be formally recognized at the AEM Capital Art Show reception on March 7, 2010.

Requirements:
1) Size: 8.25 inches wide by 4.125 inches high
2) Must include the YAM logo.
3) Images/Graphics must represent Minnesota.
5) Must include the word Minnesota in block letters
