6th Grade Media Arts: Create a Legendary Creature.

1. Go to dictionary.com and write down the first definition for legend.

2. Go to Wikipedia's List of Legendary Creatures Choose one and answer the following questions about your creature:
- What is the creature called?
- What country or culture is it from?
- Write a short description:
- What kinds of pictures can you put together to make your creature?

3. Draw a picture of what your creature will look like.

4. Now create your picture of in Photoshop. You will use the cut, copy and paste controls to put together pieces of different pictures along with what you have learned about Photoshop tools and image adjustments.

5. Write the legend of your creature on the sheet provided by Ms. Vermeer. Your story can be taken from what is written on Wikipedia, or you can make it up.
